Description
Introducing Burgundy Solidarity. A bold, empowering shade of our award-winning Solidarity High-Impact Sports Bra, now available to match our bestselling leggings.
Designed by our founder Mari, a lifelong athlete and former sports bra tester. The Solidarity was created to solve a problem no other bra could. As a 34F runner and hockey player, Mari could never find the support she needed for high-impact activity. So she invented it.
At its core is our unique Overband® Technology, an adjustable panel that runs over the top of the breasts to reduce upward motion and deliver unparalleled control. This innovation has helped the Solidarity earn ten ‘Best in Test’ titles, and 1st place with a perfect 100/100 Support Score in the 2021 Women’s Health Lab Test.
Named the "Best Sports Bra for Large Breasts" by leading publications including Runner’s World, Women’s Health, The Times, and The New York Times, the Solidarity continues to set the standard.
In Burgundy, it’s strong, striking, and powerful, just like you. Pair it with the matching Uplift Leggings for a head-to-toe look that means business.

Stops the bounce. Stays put.
Most sports bras rely on compression alone. It flattens you, but you still lift with every stride. MAAREE sports bras have game-changing Overband® Technology, a curved panel across the top of the chest that holds against that upward bounce. On Solidarity, it adjusts under each arm, one of eight adjustment points, so you set the fit to your body once and stop hitching it back into place.

The questions we hear most
What impact level is the Solidarity sports bra?
High impact. The Solidarity is MAAREE's original high-impact sports bra, built for running, team sports, HIIT and anything else that makes an unsupported chest ache. It's the bra that won Sports Bra of the Year 2025.
What sizes does the Solidarity come in?
The Solidarity is sized 28 to 38 back, C to HH cup. Not every back-and-cup combination is made, so the quickest way to confirm yours is the size guide or a free 15-minute fitting with one of our expert fitters, online or in person, no purchase needed.
Is the Solidarity good for running with a bigger bust?
That's exactly who it was engineered for. Founder Mari Thomas-Welland tested sports bras professionally, wears a 34F herself, and built the Solidarity because nothing on the market held her. It's our most recommended bra for running above a D cup.
How do I find my Solidarity size?
Measure your underband and bust against the size guide, which shows exactly where the tape goes. If you sit between sizes or your two measurements disagree, take the Sports Bra Quiz or book a free fitting and we'll size you by eye and fit rather than numbers alone.
Is the Solidarity covered by a guarantee?
Yes. Every MAAREE bra carries a 12-month guarantee, so if it fails you within a year of normal use, we'll put it right.
What if I don't need this much support?
If your training is more gym floor than sprint track, look at the Empower Sports Bra, the medium-impact style sized XS to XXL. Two minutes on the Sports Bra Quiz will tell you which style fits your sport.
What's the difference between encapsulation and compression sports bras?
Compression bras apply pressure to the chest against the body and use one piece of fabric to cover both breasts. Encapsulation bras cup each breast separately, which is closer to a regular bra. The MAAREE Solidarity Sports Bra is a Hybrid bra, which combine the encapsulation and compression styles to achieve the ultimate performance.
What does sister sizing mean?
Sister sizing is the trick fitters use when the band is wrong but the cup volume is right. Going up one band size means going down one cup, and vice versa. So 32E, 34DD and 36D all hold roughly the same amount of breast tissue. They sit differently because the band changes. The rule helps you find a stocked size when your exact one is sold out.
Should a sports bra feel tight?
Snug, not painful. A new sports bra band should feel firmer than a regular bra band, especially in the first two wears, like a snug pair of jeans loosening into shape. You should be able to slide a finger under the band but no more. If you can't get a finger under the band, it's too tight; if you can fit a fist, it's too loose.
What if the bra doesn't fit when it arrives?
The best thing to do would be to book an online fitting with us. A lot of the time there's just some adjustability that's needed to get it to fit perfectly. Otherwise, our friendly fitters can help evaluate the fit and suggest your replacement size if it's needed. The free 1-to-1 fitting takes about 15 minutes and runs across UK, EU and US time zones. No purchase required, even after the call.
Unworn bras can be exchanged or returned within 28 days of delivery. What's included depends on where you live, so check our delivery and returns page for your country.
